The Chest Tube is Out!

We visited Bodie this morning, and his dad got to witness the doctor remove the chest tube. Also removed were the feeding tube and the oxygen tube. They stopped giving him anti-biotic late last night. He is starting to look like a normal newborn. There are a couple more wires hooked up to him that could get removed gradually over the next day. The doctor was pretty optimistic that Bodie could move to another room by late tomorrow afternoon. However, just because he had the V.I.P. window bed in room A doesn't guarantee he will get the same treatment in the next room. Maybe his dad will have to slip a nurse a Lincoln to see if he gets hooked up. Happy Hump Day!
