Geronimo The Grouch

I realize that the economy is in a down-turn and that education seems to always be underfunded anyway. So the following conversation that occurred between Geronimo and Sara yesterday wasn't too shocking to me:

Sara: What did you do at school today?
Geronimo: I ate garbage!
Sara: What?
Geronimo: I ate garbage!

They have been introducing new foods to the kids periodically at school and I figured that in an effort to cut more costs they introduced the kids to garbage. Luckily for us, the kids get a sticker that says what the new food they tried was. It turns out that garbage is actually cabbage. That story has just made me more hungry for St. Patty's Day.

P.S. I wouldn't be surprised if this blog post inspires some politician to try a new menu item.

That classic. I love me some corned beef and garbage. Can't wait. My mouth's watering already.

That's awesome. Although some may argue that cabbage=garbage....
